Got absolutely disgusted with WBUT this time. The results declared last night turned into a matter of panic for the students as they were not available for the students to see.The whole day they had been at the internet so that luckily they could get a glance of their results. However the server was totally down and even an entire were not sufficient for them to fix the matter.Whats the use of releasing the result if the server is not ready enough to hold results of so many students.

Some shocking revelations by the Topmost Counter-Naxalite instructor Basant Ponwar. He accuses the senior officers reluctant to undergo training the anti-naxal training in the jungles. He sya sthat the the level of training they have currently is not enough to combat the maoists in the jungle. But these officers have ignored the training right from the begining with an attitude of knowing everything. He has brought their leadership qualities unto question saying that how will they lead an entire operation when they are competent enough to deal with sucn issues. They are only accustomed to an air-conditioned room unlike the adversities that one has to face in a forest. With such hailf-trained officers leading the operation the CRPF jawans are bound to fall prey to Maoist massacre....
So my question is that are the 75 CRPF jawans killed in the carnage victims of the ego of the senior officers? If it so its more pathetic.

One of the deadliest Maoist attack today occured between 6 A.M and 7 A.M at Chattisgarh. This is the most atrocious attacks uptill as it claimed uptill now the highest casualty of 76 CRPF Jawans including some personnels of the elite anti-Maoist force. It is being said that the police had information about the Maoist in the jungle then why were they were so casual....they did not resort to checking the area for the potential landmines...they were totally taken aback in the morning when they were attacked by thousands of Maoists...the Prime Minister is deeply shocked by the incident while the Home Minister said that he is going to retaliate with a firmer reply...really shocking and pathetic!!

Shyam Market

Earlier the only thing I liked about my college was the journey to college as I could see some of the spectacular places of Kolkata on my way.The situation in college has bettered over the years but recently my journey has a got another place to admire about. The Shyam Market,174 C R Avenue. Not because of its gracious presence but because of its virtual presence.Every time I give a glance I remember how can a edifice stand so high when it should not have existed?(ref:metro,5th April,2010).The funniest part of the report I found was that the Corporation does not collect tax from the building as that will act as an admitting of their failure to demolish the structure.Jokes apart, the building stands a death trap to many. The building built on weak beams and pillars can collapse any time. Its a paradox to see such a building standing high at such a popular place of Kolkata just by the side of the busy thoroughfare. Now whether the building will face the axe or will stand high to remind every passerby of its immunity towards all attempts to demolish the structure that is for the future to say?

Soaps and Serials

I totally agree with what Ambika Soni told today to NDTV regarding the kind of stuff the TV serials are portraying nowadays...The reason I hate most of those serials as most of indulge in all kinds of display of absurd and hypothetical situations which have enough potential to narrow our human mind....The only serial which I thought has a social message to depict had dissapointed me...Balika Vadhu on colors which was initially based the the cons of child marriage has now deviated its storyline into the complications of human relations...the kind of things they have started showing recently has no connection with child marriage...Now what are they trying to highlight?Vairab's childhood friend Dhipri returns after so many years with the dormant desire in mind to get back Vairob as her husband....series of flashbacks showss that as a child Vairab had promised her marriage..now should we cognizance of such talks which a child says without even knowing whats the meaning of marriage??So its really absurd to believe that any such feelings could have existed..now after the so many years of marriage Dhipri comes and start desiring him to be her husband when he is not only a father but also father-in-law??I fail to understand how child marriage links to such utter nonsense...I just dont understand why every serial has bring to all these spoiling the sanctity of the serial no matter what they start with.....any answer???
